Tickets & Registration
  • Weekend Pass $50

    This pass is good for (1) spectator for the 2-day event. This pass gets you full access to spectate all of the events along with a pit pass to use 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs plus access to the mud bog. This ticket also includes camping Friday and Saturday night. Please note that there are no electric or water hookups on site. PIT BIKES, DIRT BIKES AND TRIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY. All 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs must be turned off at sunset. Helmets are required in the mud bog.

    *Save $5 by purchasing before September 1st. Price will increase to $55 after 9/1/24

  • Saturday Single Day $35

    This pass is good for (1) spectator for Saturday. This pass gets you full access to spectate all of the events on Saturday along with a pit pass to use 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs plus access to the mud bog. This ticket also includes Saturday night. Please note that there are no electric or water hookups on site. PIT BIKES, DIRT BIKES AND TRIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY. All 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs must be turned off at sunset. Helmets are required in the mud bog.

  • VIP Weekend Pass $100

    *You must buy ahead of time. Available until sold out.

    This pass is good for (1) spectator for the 2-day event. This pass gets you full access to spectate all of the events along with a pit pass to use 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs plus access to the mud bog. This ticket also includes VIP camping & parking Friday and Saturday night. Please note that there are no electric or water hookups on site. PIT BIKES, DIRT BIKES AND TRIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY. All 4 wheelers/golf carts/sxs must be turned off at sunset. Helmets are required in the mud bog.

    VIP perk includes a VIP wristband with access to VIP areas during the Pulls, Dirt Drags and Burnout Competition. It also comes with camping/parking closest to all the action. VIP Camping area is reserved Friday night and then first come, first served on Saturday until it is full.

  • Youth/Kids Weekend Pass $10

    This pass is good for (1) child 4-12 years old for the 2-day event. Kids under 4 are free and children 13+ need a regular ticket. This pass gets you full access to spectate all of the events along with access the Family Friendly sections and the Kids Zone which has trikes, RC Cars and other things for kids to do! This ticket also includes camping Friday and Saturday night. Please note that there are no electric or water hookups on site. This venue is dog friendly. *Must be accompanied by an adult.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO

We are so excited to welcome you to 4x4 Proving Grounds. To ensure that everyone enjoys their time here to the fullest, please read the following information.

  • Respect of the grounds and event staff is imperative
  • Here we are all family so please be respectful of those around you
  • When you enter the event you will need to supply your ID and sign a waiver. Please have your ID ready.
  • If you are bringing a 4wheeler, SxS, Golf Cart for the mud bogs make sure you also bring a helmet for each person on the vehicle
  • Competitors need helmets including in the Burnout Pit
  • Fireworks are not permitted
  • This event is BYOB. With that said, no underage drinking is permitted
  • If you are camping/spending the night please make sure to read the Camping Tab

Is this event only for Trucks?

Not at all! This event is for anything with a motor. Trucks (gas and diesel), Cars, Bikes and everything in between are welcomed! You can even come to just spectate and hangout with us!

Camping

Load in begins Friday at 1pm. Load out by 12pm on Sunday.

Camping is included in the price of admission. 2 Day passes can camp Friday and Saturday night. Single day passes can camp Saturday night.

Please note that there are not any water or power hookups. You will need to bring your own if you require it. You can camp in a tent, vehicle, camper etc. Porta potties will be available for use the entire weekend.

Grills and bonfires are allowed. You must bring your own firewood.

Please respect the grounds and leave your site the way you found it.

Burnout Pit - Test & Tune

Test & Tune is open to all vehicle types.

120' x 120' Concrete Pit

DRIVERS/PASSENGERS:

  • Must be 18 years old or older. Minor waiver is available but must be submitted for approval prior to the event. Minor waiver is available at: https://603diesels.com/pages/events and needs to be submitted for approval to 603diesels@gmail.com at least one week prior to the event.
  • Up to one passenger. Must be 18 years old or over
  • Seatbelts must be worn by all occupants in the vehicle
  • All Drivers must attend drivers meeting

SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Helmet required
  • Seat belt required
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Battery must be secured
  • Fireworks not permitted 
  • Burnout shall not begin until instructed by event official 
  • No standing burnouts, vehicle shall maintain movement
  • Driver must stop immediately if instructed by event staff
  • Drivers cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol

VEHICLE INSPECTION:

  • Front door handles must be visible and operational
  • No fluid leaks are permitted, and any leaks other than water will result in a disqualification
  • Functional seat belt (s)
  • Must have at least one functioning headlight and tailight 
  • The fuel tank must be securely mounted
  • Complete firewall fortification is required with no exposed holes leading to the driver cabin
  • No externally mounted Nitrous bottles
  • There is no restriction on fuel type
  • Front brakes must be operational. Rear brakes are not required
  • 603 Diesels and/or Maineiac offroad reserves the right to refuse admittance to any vehicle that they feel is unsafe, for any reason.

JUDGING GUIDELINES:

Judging will be based upon- Instant smoke, constant smoke, volume of smoke, driving skill, creativity and use of the entire skid pad. Hitting a barrier automatically disqualifies you from the competition.

Judging is complete by assessing criteria of skill on a points system out of 100 points. Judges will allocate points for the following:

Instant Smoke - up to 10 points (The start of your run is just as important as the finish. Vehicles that do not produce smoke immediately are allocated less points)

Constant Smoke - up to 10 points (The vehicle must smoke its tires from the very start to the finish without interruption.)

Volume of Smoke - up to 10 points

Creativity of the Burnout - up to 20 points (This can be creativity of vehicle appearance, add on accessories or speciality items such as colored smoke tires)

Driving Skills - up to 50 points (The driver must produce all of the above and demonstrate skill, control and creativity during their burnout.)

BURNOUT TIME:

The minimum burnout time will be 60 seconds. Any burnout less than 60 seconds will be judged as a “did not finish” (DNF). A deduction of 10 points for each 5 seconds under a burnout time of 60 seconds will also apply (to a maxim time deduction of 40 points)

POINT DEDUCTIONS:

Judges will deduct points for the following:

  • Reversing - minus up to 10 points
  • Stopping or Stalling - minus up to 10 points
  • Spilling Fluids - minus up to 10 points
  • Fire - minus up to 10 points
  • Failure to utilize full pit - minus up to 10 points
  • Contact with a barrier - minus 10 points
  • Failure to drive off the pad - minus 10 points
  • Burnout had to have a Courtesy Restart - minus 10 points
  • Rear tires still inflated after burnout is complete - minus 5 points per tire

Courtesy Restart is allowed once per vehicle if the vehicle did not complete a minimum of a 30 second burnout.

DIRT DRAG SAFETY/GUIDELINES

  • Jumping the starting line will cause a loss for that race.
  • Crossing any lane lines will cause a loss for that race.
  • All riders must attend the Rider's Meeting before races can begin.
  • Referee's decision is final.
  • D.O.T. approved helmet and eye protection required.
  • Closed toe shoes are required
  • Anyone under the age of 18 must have a waiver filled out. Minor waivers are available at 603Diesels.com
  • No Passengers
  • No ATV’s
  • No one under the age of 16 will be allowed to compete on ATV's and motorcycles over 400cc.
  • No alcohol is permitted. 
  • 4x4 ATVs can run 2x4 classes only in 2x4.
  • Class jumping is allowed as long as you are undersized, not oversized.
  • No chains, studs, paddles or spikes allowed in/on tires.

Dirt Bikes, Pit Bikes and Trikes ARE NOT allowed.

Tug of War

TUG OF WAR RULES/GUIDELINES

The vehicles are opposing each other on the dirt track with a 30 feet strap hooked to the rear of each truck with the center of the strap centered on the track. The winner is the competitor who pulls the other 15 feet across the line or the farthest in 30 seconds. The best of three (3) is the winner. The winner stays in the winner's bracket and the loser goes to the loser's bracket. Each truck and driver should have at least two (2) pulls.

  • Drivers must furnish their own hitch. Hitch must be stationary and no higher than 32” from the ground (vertical or horizontal). Hitches may be moved up or down, in or out but never on a false start. Hitches may NOT float. No bumper mounted hitches.
  • Drivers are urged to wear a seatbelt and a motor sport type helmet when hooked.
  • Up to (1) one passenger is allowed in the vehicle

Concert/Live Band

The concert is free and is open to everyone. It will take place during The After Party around 8/9PM

Bonfire

Grab the smores supplies, a chair and your favorite drink! Enjoy a night around the bonfire!

Bikini Contest

The Bikini Contest is open to anyone 18+. It will take place during The After Party around 8/9PM
